Meet Beth
Sometimes bios can seem so vanilla. So here’s my attempt to be honest with you, internet friend. I’m a hot mess in process who is believing more with each passing day, loss and trial that Jesus is 100% committed to me and my good. I am someone he is reminding that I am not an orphan left on my own to navigate this chaotic world. If I can believe that for myself, I can believe it for you when you aren’t able to.
Because you might want to know more about me other than that I’m a hot mess in process, here are some less interesting facts:
I have my MA in Professional Counseling from Richmont Graduate University
Certified Spiritual Director through New Way Ministries
Doctoral candidate in Spiritual Formation & Soul Care from Talbot Seminary currently working on my dissertation to be completed in 2025
Facilitated intensive outpatient group therapy and offered psycho-education for those suffering from addiction, mood disorders, and mental illness.
I’m an avid University of Tennessee fan which is another reason why I struggle in life at times & am well acquainted with grief and loss
I’m passionate about facilitating a group process with teams around the topics of soul care, growth, change, caring for people that they lead, and relational challenges
I love creating experiences for people to encounter God and beauty such as trips to England with a special focus on C.S. Lewis or leading a retreat in Paris for single women serving missions organizations in cities all over Europe.
I am comfortable sitting with people in pain.
Beth sees men and women and is passionate about sitting with individuals who are working through:
Relational brokenness
Loss of relationships and community due to changing beliefs
Spiritual turbulence/confusion
Spiritual burnout
Church struggles
Loneliness
Identity struggles due to being in vocational ministry
Singleness
Being honest with God, self, and others
