England Soul Care 2025
Pause. Experience.
September 18th - September 26th
Cost: $4,800
England Soul Care 2025 (ESC for short) was born from a love for stories, specifically The Chronicles of Narnia, and a desire for shared experiences. Aslan, Lucy, Frodo, and Bilbo, have been companions to many of us over the last half-century. They awaken our imagination and longing for something “other.” While in England, you’ll notice you aren’t simply reading about the stories of others, but you are being invited to live more fully into your own. ESC gives you space to pause, experience, and consider what God might be inviting you to. Our souls need beauty, whimsy, quiet, and tastes of wildness (space to explore). We hope you’ll consider being one of the twelve women to join us in the fall of 2025 for ESC: 2025.
“Creatures, I give you yourselves…..I give to you forever this land of Narnia…I give you the woods, the fruits, the rivers. I give you the stars, and I give you myself.” - Aslan, as written by CS. Lewis
What it is:
ESC is an invitation to pause and to experience. It is an investment of your time, resources, and life. It’s a chance to experience and relate with God in ways that might be a little different from a normal bible study or Sunday morning church service. It is a place to bring your questions, struggles, and also your joys and hopes. It’s a place where you get to show up exactly as you are!
What it isn’t:
ESC 2025 ESC isn't primarily about content and is not teaching-heavy. While we do teach some, we focus more on facilitated experiences – both individual and shared. We have some teaching, but it is more facilitated experiences. It’s not a place to fix another participant or give unwanted advice.

Beth Wayland
After traveling solo to England for her 40th birthday, Beth had a desire to bring others back across the pond to share the adventure. As a certified spiritual director, with an MA in counseling, she wanted to create an experience that allowed space for people to “look at their life under the care and connection of God.” She is working on her dissertation to complete her doctorate in spiritual formation and soul care. Beth is the Executive Director of With Inc., a ministry providing soul care opportunities. She resides in Knoxville where she has been a faithful Vol fan since she before could walk or sing Rocky Top.
Beth Fadelle
After graduating from Vanderbilt University in 1993 with a degree in English Literature, Beth joined the staff of an international faith-based organization where she worked with college students and young adults in university settings – first in Chapel Hill at The University of North Carolina and then back in Nashville at Vanderbilt.
As Beth has engaged with people over the years, she has become increasingly intrigued by each person’s story - how people grow and change. And how people get unstuck. So, she pursued growth and change herself. Eventually, she went back to school - earning a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Trevecca Nazarene Univeristy.
